because, actually. yes. they are playing. there was a point where I had four dogs because my uncle left one of his with my family while he indulged a wanderlust filled travel that indebted him and left him homeless. I had raised two of them from puppyhood and those little fuckers play fight all the goddamn time. it’s what they do. this is a trait that has carried over from being wild.
