if you noticed that a lot of indonesian artists suddenly opened their commissions, that’s because of the government announcing paypal has a five day window before it’s banned in the country

if you commission an artist right now, you will likely be expected to pay upfront and the commission may take a little while longer. this isn’t because you’re being scammed, but because the artist has taken a bulk of commissions to try and secure their livelihood until they can figure out another payment processor or revenue stream that foreign clients can use

!!!HELP A DISABLED NATIVE QUIT THEIR JOB!!!

hi, i’m ciro, a disabled (autistic + currently unknown chronic fatigue issue) trans native who has been working in emergency services for 3 years and who desperately needs to leave.

i already caught covid once from this job due to my coworkers and managers complete lack of care (there has been zero masking throughout the entire pandemic), and currently 3 people have tested positive in the last week including somebody i worked with yesterday.

i have already developed some long covid symptoms (hair loss, fatigue, brain fog) and am terrified of it amplifying by catching it again. my hair has already fallen out a ridiculous amount in the last 4 months due to the stress of covid and working this fucking job.

it is at a point im taking xanax 3-4 times a week just so i can get some sleep because my body is constantly tensed and in pain from the stress and anxiety of an already baseline stressful and outright traumatic job that is only getting worse due to poor staffing leasing to an immense amount of overtime (i already work 10 hours a day).

i am exhausted. this job is rapidly becoming extremely dangerous to my physical and mental health. i nearly attempted suicide earlier this year due to the stress.

i have a job basically lined up but it likely wont be available until the end of next month. i intended to work here until then, but with the news today that there are THREE positive cases at work and all management has done has told us to wipe down our desks, i can’t take it anymore.

i have enough money right now to make it through the end of this months bills, but not enough for a second month. i know a lot of people are in some much more dire situations but i know it doesn’t hurt to ask.

i’m looking at raising around $1000 dollars to guarantee even if i start my new job too late for a paycheck at the end of august, i will be able to pay my bills, as i will also be getting around 700 dollars from my final paycheck of paid out vacation. this should be enough to cover rent, utilities, and my car payment.

in latest ffxiv news, an erp group spent around 30k dollars putting up FOUR billboards in texas and california with assets that are a) modded in and b) datamined in order to datamine their erp club party. both of which are ABSOLUTELY against tos.

then they linked their twitch to it, which immediately takes away any plausible deniability of commercial use. because viewership is considered a monetary asset. and they put their names on the billboard, so their characters will probably be permanently banned for data mining and modding.
